As the founding member of the band that wrote all of their own music, Belinda Carlisle is an icon in the music industry. Along with being a member of the Go Go’s, she embarked on a successful solo career that saw the creation of multiple successful albums. Belinda Carlisle has worked with a variety of artists through her solo career from Duran Duran to members of the Bangles, creating a versatile portfolio before making her appearance on Dancing with the Stars 2009 Line up.
